About Nigel Vaz
Nigel Vaz is CEO of Publicis Sapient, a global technology company that combines decades of industry expertise with next-generation AI platforms to help enterprises modernize, scale intelligence and deliver measurable outcomes.
As CEO, Nigel leads a business focused on helping organizations reinvent how they build, operate and deliver. Publicis Sapient brings together strategy, product, experience, engineering and data to solve complex enterprise challenges, from legacy modernization and technical debt reduction to the design and deployment of AI-enabled workflows.
Leadership and advisory work
Over more than two decades with the company, Nigel has advised some of the world’s largest organizations through major periods of technological and commercial change.
His work has spanned financial services, automotive, retail, consumer products, and telecommunications, media and technology. Across those sectors, his focus has remained consistent: helping established enterprises move beyond ambition and build the capabilities, platforms and operating models needed to create lasting advantage.
Today, that work is increasingly centred on enterprise AI. As companies move from pilots and proofs of concept toward production-scale adoption, Nigel helps leaders think through the practical requirements for impact: modern technology foundations, trusted data, governance, resilient operations and teams able to work effectively with intelligent systems.
Publicis Sapient
Publicis Sapient works with global enterprises to deliver technology-led outcomes that matter. The company’s current focus includes enterprise AI platforms, agentic workflows, legacy modernization and operational resilience.
Its platforms include Sapient Bodhi, which helps build and run enterprise-ready AI agents with the orchestration, context, and governance required for real business workflows; Sapient Slingshot, which supports large-scale modernization by turning existing code into verified specifications and modern software; and Sapient Sustain, which helps complex technology operations become more resilient, efficient, and adaptive.
Through this work, Publicis Sapient helps organizations move from fragmented experimentation to secure, scalable execution.

He writes and speaks on business, technology, leadership, culture, and the changing relationship between people, platforms, and intelligent systems.
Nigel is the author of the bestselling business title ‘Digital Business Transformation: How Established Companies Sustain Competitive Advantage From Now to Next’, published by Wiley. The book captured the previous wave of enterprise change: how established companies could adapt to a digital world. His current focus extends that agenda into the age of enterprise AI, where the priority is not simply to transform, but to build the systems and capabilities that let intelligence scale.
